I had so much fun with this cute dude. He showed up with green dye on his hands from dying Easter eggs earlier that day, along with his big blue eyes and a smile that melts your heart. I was so happy to take his 2 year photos, after missing his first birthday when I was on maternity leave last year. And I've been waiting for this time of year, when the winter cold says goodbye, and signs of spring arrive, and you can head outside to get the wiggles out. I incorporated a DIY teepee into the session that I made from scrap canvas and dowel rods lying round in the garage (FREE photog prop? Yes, please!). His Carhartt overalls and plaid shirt really sealed the deal for me, especially with the rugged farm setting. From playing with bubbles and trucks in the studio, to throwing rocks outside in the silo, I think we caught this 2 year old in his element of doing what boys do best. Happy 2nd birthday, little buddy!
